I had convinced myself that I only buy yarn with a specific project in mind. However, it was only when I decided to organize my yarn, that I discovered that I am indeed a bit of a yarn hoarder.

Now that my yarn is a lot more organized, I can see exactly what I have and I’m doing my best to work my way through it.

Crochet Patterns by Yarn Weight

For each of these scrap yarn crochet patterns, I list the recommended yarn weight, and the suggested yarn if it’s available. This allows you to see at a glance what you might be able to use from your stash.

I’ve also grouped the patterns by yarn weight so you can skip straight to each section.

Which brings me to the Stash Busting Challenge event, an exciting, stash-busting frenzy is running for the entire month of April!

I have joined together with a group of designers, who are each making a different pattern PDF available for free for ONE WEEK.

How does it work?

Each week, designers will share a new set of scrap yarn projects crochet and/or knit. Each of these patterns will be available as a free PDF to download for the duration of the week. The entire collection of projects for leftover yarn will be updated at 11:59 PM EST every Tuesday.
