Crochet pouches and pencil cases have to be my absolute favourite way to use up yarn odds and ends. A cute pouch combines three of my favourite things: it’s quick to make, you can make it in any size that you like AND best of all, it’s functional 🙂

So, whether you are thinking about ‘back-to-school’ projects, or you’re already half way through the school year, read on for some inspiration on quick crochet pencil cases!

For each of the projects below, I list the pattern format as well as the recommended yarn. This allows you to see at a glance what you might be able to use from your stash.
