About the Spring into Summer Blog Hop

The Spring into Summer Blog Hop is a fabulous event that I am co-hosting this May with my friends RaeLynn from Itchin’ for some Stitchin’ and Hannah from HanJan Crochet. The blog hop and amazing giveaway are sponsored by the super-generous (and awesome!) folks at WeCrochet.

We have gotten together with our fellow designers to bring you 33 of the very best Spring & Summer crochet patterns, each one perfect for this time of year.

Every day between May 1 to June 2, there will be a different featured designer, and you can get their pattern for free for that day only.

The majority of the patterns are BRAND NEW DESIGNS, so this is an amazing chance to get your hands on a never-seen-before pattern! Each pattern has been specially designed for adding a touch of Spring & Summer style to your home or closet.

Stellate Shawl by Clare de Lune Fiber Art

Stellate Shawl by Clare de Lune Fiber Art

Go to HanJan Crochet to get the code for this pattern!

The Stellate Shawl is a pocket shawl that addresses my personal issues with the standard design. First, it is worked from short end to short end, allowing for easier length customization (plus, you don’t have to chain/foundation stitch a bazillion times!). Second, it is designed so you can access the pockets from both the right side and wrong side of the shawl, meaning that you don’t have to expose your arms to the chill to use the pockets! Cute buttons keep the outer flap closed when not in use.
